I grew up in the metro area, with a father who was a decorated Minneapolis police officer, and a mother who was a homemaker. In 2009, I married the love of my life, Kira. We lived in Maplewood until 2015, when we decided to move to the smaller, more peaceful town of Chisago City. We immediately fell in love with the community and the tranquility of the city.
I worked at Century Link until 2020 when they had large-scale layoffs during the pandemic. Drawing on my pension, 401K, and prior business experience from owning Mow to Snow before my tenure at Century Link, my wife and I started a lawn care, weed control, and snow removal company called K&G Prentice.Â
In my free time, I enjoy hunting, fishing, and camping. You might also find me working on various projects around our house, a charming fixer-upper from 1917.
